Panhellenic Mission, Vision, & Values

The National Panhellenic Conference Foundation was established in 1995 to promote values and ethics in women's fraternities and to encourage their members to be active and responsible leaders in their respective communities. Our mission is furthered through the sponsorship of National Panhellenic Conference educational and charitable programs to address health, safety, education, leadership, and other issues facing women in today's society. The Foundation was incorporated in August 1995 in Indiana.

Mission Statement

To advance the twenty-six women's organizations of the National Panhellenic Conference and their commitment to personal growth by underwriting initiatives that launch and sustain women leaders.

Vision

Every woman will be a better citizen because of her life-long sorority experience.

Values

The mission, vision and all efforts of the NPC Foundation are based upon four primary values:

  • the Panhellenic spirit that bonds 26 member groups totaling more than 3.7 million women

  • life-long commitment to intellectual, personal, and social growth

  • the power of the individual and the empowerment of women

  • the betterment of campus culture and society in general

Panhellenic Creed

"We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live."
